Worship  Services

Worship services are held Thursdays at 7:00 pm and Sundays at 9:30 am.  The Sunday service and the preceding Thursday service are the same. 

Communion services are held the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School will be held on Saturday, August 7 from 9:00am until 2:00pm. This years theme is "Gone Fishing" and the lessons will center on Jesus fishing with his disciples and making them fishers of people.


With the easing of Covid restrictions, St Michael's is slowly and safely trying to return to normal activities. St. Michael's church is holding in person worship services, Sunday School, and Bible class. If you join us we ask that you please wear a mask or face covering and follow distancing with other worshippers.  The church doors will be open on Sunday mornings if you wish to pick up a copy of the sermon and to visit with your pastor and leaders in a less formal setting. Pastor Westenberg

Pastor Douglas Westenberg came to St. Michael's Lutheran Church in February 2020.  Pastor Westenberg grew up on a dairy farm near Watertown, WI.  In 1992 he graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary and has served as pastor at the following churches:  Immanuel Lutheran, Hadar, NE, St, John's Lutheran, Juneau, WI and St. Peter's Lutheran in Marshfield, WI.  In 1994 Pastor Westenberg married Ann Sauer and they have three children: Joel (Kali), Rachel and Samuel.  The Westenbergs have moved into the parsonage and are making Fountain City their home.
